Introduction

On behalf of the Difficult Airway Society, it gives us great pleasure to invite you to the 2007 DAS Annual meeting in Portsmouth. The meeting will take place in the Guildhall in Portsmouth from November 21st – 23rd 2007.

The conference will consist of a day of workshops, which will include a courtroom ‘mock’ trial, state of the art simulators and a multitude of airway techniques and equipment for your education and practice.

The following two days will consist of a scientific programme of lectures from world-renowned speakers, controversial debates, case presentations and research.

The social programme will include complimentary Champagne Reception on the Wednesday evening at the top of the Spinnaker Tower and the Gala Dinner in the Guildhall on Thursday. A lively Blues Band will provide musical entertainment after the Gala Dinner.

This promises to be an exciting meeting both educationally and socially and we look forward to welcoming you in November,
